Event Speakers & Sponsers

PCOS Doctor Wearing Teal

Dr. Lynsey Johnson, DNP, APRN, FNP-C is the founder of PCOS Sisters Telehealth, created from her own journey of overcoming the challenges of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Misdiagnosed for years due to not fitting the “typical” PCOS profile, Dr. Johnson eventually found answers—and made it her mission to help others do the same. Now a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a doctorate in nursing practice, she has developed an evidence-based treatment model that combines metabolic optimization, symptom management, and whole-person care. Through virtual access, PCOS Sisters removes traditional barriers to care, offering specialized support to women everywhere.

Sasha Ottey, MHA, MLS (ASCP) is the Founder and Executive Director of PCOS Challenge: The National Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Association, the leading advocacy organization for people with PCOS. A former microbiologist at the NIH, Sasha has become a global leader in PCOS awareness, education, and health policy. She founded the PCOS Awareness Symposium—the largest event dedicated to PCOS—and led the creation of the Bipartisan Congressional PCOS Caucus. Under her leadership, PCOS Challenge has built a coalition of over 70 health organizations, advanced federal policy efforts, and is currently developing the PCOS National Health Policy Agenda. Sasha’s work continues to drive research, innovation, and patient-centered care in the fight for better outcomes for those affected by PCOS.

We’re honored to welcome artist Leigh Pursley to the PCOS Trailblazers 5K for a special live painting experience. Leigh’s work blends nature, movement, and emotion, inspired by her personal journey through chronic illness, grief, and healing. Her current series, Lean into the Magic, reflects her growth through fibromyalgia and her love of hiking and the outdoors. Each piece tells a story of resilience and transformation—capturing moments of light and color drawn from both the natural world and within the soul.
